1 can garbanzo beans
1 medium onion, minced
2 garlic cloves, minced
3 tbsps lemon juice
1 tablespoon soy sauce
dash sesame oil
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 cup tahini
1/2 cup sesame seeds, toasted
Lightly brown the sesame seeds on a plate in microwave. Saute onion & garlic in a little sesame oil. Place the garbanzo beans with a little of their liquid in a food processor. (Save liquid in case more is needed.) Process briefly. Add all remaining ingredients and process till smooth. Chill.
Serving Ideas: Serve with pita bread
